STAR (Sexual Trauma And Recovery)
28 Years and Counting
As an abandoned 6 month old baby, I was tossed between multiple family foster homes and molested by 5 different males before the age of 11. I was violently sodomized by my primary molester (my Uncle) at the age of 14. Still only 14, that same year of the deepest trauma, I was coerced and manipulated into vaginial penetration (raped according to statute) by a young man on whom I had a crush who was 19 years old. At 15, I got my own apartment, but it took years of self-help and several therapists to find myself and even longer to love myself.
Finding my pride.
The journey to redefining yourself is as important as the destination.
It was important to share my story with close friends and to find hobbies I could enjoy with friends to get my mind off of the past and into the present. Mindfulness Meditation became my lifeline and my Faith became my reason for living.
Social Gatherings and Individual Chats are available by the hour.
Priced in accordance with what you can afford.

Words to live by...
Try new looks. Straigten or color your hair.
Many victims think that perpetrators will leave them alone if they gain weight, cut off their hair or dress frumpy. Dress yourself up and dress to please yourself!
Learn new hobbies and win, win, win!
Perpetrators are everywhere. If you hide away, you'll never learn how to set boundaries and hold them.
Exercise in Sunlight daily, if possible.
Getting outdoors and staying in motion gives your immune system an important boost and causes your mood to soar! Have a daily exercise regimen that involves indoors and outdoors so your body will produce a consistent supply of seratonin.

I conduct group chats most weekdays free of charge and, for those in crisis, I'm available for individual chats. I'm not a counselor; I'm simply a survivor of sexual trauma with many years of recovery and 28 years providing free support to others.
